The forum creation was kind of cool, but I do not see myself using this much in a classroom. It just felt weird to me, but who knows what I may end up thinking in the future. I like to keep an open mind.
My biggest concern with the RubiStar was when I download the format to excel.... It appeared more like a software written page was saved rather than a user friendly rubric. (I will share below so you can see for yourself). Because of this, I created my own rubric with the same information using Excel (Google Sheets). Overall, the quizzes were my favorite and most useful part!

Chapter 10; Question 1.
There has been much discussion about whether distance education can provide students instruction that is equal in quality to traditional education. Do you think an equivalent experience is possible via distance delivery? Why or why not?
No, I absolutely do not believe that distance education can provide students instruction that is equal to traditional education. Let me be clear, I am speaking from an art class perspective. A couple of things concern me with this. One, a student's work will not look the same over a computer image compared to real life and a teacher would not know if materials were being used properly. Two, a critique of the artwork cannot be perform at it's best quality if others do not know exactly how thick the brush strokes are, how much charcoal was used, etc. and being told these things is not the same as actually seeing them. I do believe that information can be delivered equally through either format, especially in other subjects, but I do not teach them so I could be wrong!
