Reflection
According to standard III, teachers must be able to model their own knowledge and practices of technology in front of their students. I am a huge believer in the fact that most people will not do something you ask them to if you are not willing to do it yourself. By utilizing technology within the classroom day in and day out, students will see the teacher modeling their continued learning. Creating a lesson plan that is open to change and technology is a big part of growth. Teachers who are not willing to change things when there are better options are limiting their professional growth and students take notice to that. Teachers can utilize Google documents and slides every week in their classrooms when delivering content. Because of the continued improvement from Google, the teacher is forced to continue learning in a comfortable fashion. By letting the students know and see a website created by THEIR teacher, they will know you care and your constant knowledge of technology will be on display with their assignments and more. Scoop.it is another interesting source for modeling continued learning with technology. A teacher is always adding content for students to read and by requiring them to utilize the page they will be developing through technology as well.

Future Learning Goals: I always want to follow standard III because I enjoy leading by example and I would never ask my students to do something I would not. In the future, I plan to utilize these tools on a daily basis and continue learning how to use them better and share my experiences with my students. I look forward to learning new things from my students if they discover them before I do. I want to teach and learn with others through technology.
